The Pacifier bits are made with a
solid leather mouthpiece and were developed out of frustration while
working with several horses with seemingly unsolvable bitting
difficulties. Using The Pacifier
bit has been known to soothe fractious horses, help busy mouths become
quiet and encourage horses once afraid of the bit to accept it willingly
among other improvements.
Once the bit becomes wet in the horse�s mouth it conforms to the unique
shape of each horse thereby eliminating many issues with the pressure
points other bits may cause. Even rubber and other flexible materials
used currently in bit making really never conform to the horse�s mouth
completely like The Pacifier
will.
Horses typically will chew/suck on these bits like a pacifier, hence the
name! They are made with nontoxic materials. Since the mouthpiece is
made entirely of leather, you don�t have to worry about warming it up in
the winter either. Just use water and a brush for cleaning.
